Developed to meet a growing need

Oak Harbor Home Health has served over 100 families since the registry began in 2017. We believe in caring for each client the way we would our own family members. Our goal is to provide our clients with the individualized home care they need through our carefully screened contractors.
We offer a broad range of services to benefit your unique situation. We can help you or your loved one navigate a recovery from surgery, the need for in-home care, and/or assistance with daily activities. Our registry can provide transportation to medical appointment, monitor vitals on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, medication management, as well as offering companion care.

Healthcare has been a lifelong passion for Caitlin Kennedy, who grew up providing care for her grandparents with Alzheimer’s disease and cancer. In high school, she completed the HOSA program for Future Health Professionals. She began working in the healthcare industry as a CNA in 2008.

Caitlin joined the Oak Harbor family in 2013 and completed her CORE training in 2015. In 2018, she graduated with her AS degree and became a Registered Nurse. That same year, she accepted a position as the Director of Nursing at Somerset House at Oak Harbor. She also became a hospice nurse in 2019 and continues to work with VNA Hospice.

Since 2021, Caitlin has been serving as the Oak Harbor Home Health Administrator. She also completed training as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional. She is a Vero Beach native, where she still lives with her husband, son, their two dogs and two cats.

Assistant Administrator

A Vero Beach native, Jennifer Courtney has been a member of the Oak Harbor family since 2007. In 2010, she joined the team at Somerset House, Oak Harbor’s assisted living facility. The same year, she received her AAS in Business Administration and Management. Oak Harbor members provided a generous scholarship which allowed her to complete her degree in Organizational Management in 2013. During that time, she also completed CORE Training.

After graduating college, Jennifer became the Administrator at Somerset House. She began crafting the business plan for Oak Harbor Home Health soon after that. Her dream of running a home health care program became a reality in 2017 when Jennifer accepted the role of Administrator of Oak Harbor Home Health. She continued to direct Somerset House as well. In 2021, she became the Assistant Director at Oak Harbor Home Health as Caitlin assumed the role of Administrator.

Continuing education is a high priority for Jennifer, who has now added these certifications to her expertise: Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified Dementia Care Manager, Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional, Certified Dementia Support Group Facilitator, and Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer. In her free time, Jennifer loves to be out on the water with her son, daughter, and two pups.
